    up until GeForce 8, not really. ATi usually held the performance crown each generation

    though ATi had traditionally been around 3-5 months late to market with their flagship product.

    still
    Radeon 9800>FX 5900
    x800 =6800Ultra but cheaper and used less power
    x1800XT>7800GTX(256mb)
    x1900XTX>7900GTX
    HD 2900XT<8800GTX

    I'll say the 2900XT was a bit of a disappointment

    ATI has less grafic quality ....Nvidia is da best 4 gaming.

    up until a few months ago nVidia had the worst image quality in the industry. Even Intel's crappy integrated graphics produced higher quality images(not at playable frame rates but that's another story).

    do realize this is coming from someone who has owned 1 ATi designed graphics chipset and 5 nVidia graphics chipsets.

    Hl2 and deathmatch are okay but Counter Strike source.. and BF2(Different company) Are great...

    Yeah i heard about this on another website, and thankfully i still use my ATI Radeon 9250.
