That would seriously suck. I don't think they are around in Canada . I couldn't go outside. I'm so ------ing scared of bugs.
it depends how high you annoyance level is. Sometimes its really cool others its really annoying. It gets annoying mostly during the day because its really loud.
from what ive looked through there's been no evidence of cicadas in California. So i don't think you'll be seeing them unless you happen to travel to chicago or someplace in the midwest during the summer months. Sorry to break it to ya but there are cicadas in Canada the same three species that are in the Midwest and Eastern U.S
i hate cicadas. every so often i need to clean off our trees. yes, i know.....cleaning trees they attach onto the tree and do the little thing where they leave there shell, so our trees get covered in clear cicada shells......
yeah the cicada shells do get annoying only when you get the 17year brood. Any other one and its pretty quiet out even with 3 or 4 singing outside.
I asked one of my friends who also lives in Chicago, and he says he hates them. He says theres so many of them and there so annoying. I might take a trip to his house one day soon though, so Ill be ablet o see how annoying they are.
actually June is the prime month during the summer for the cicadas after June there will be very few left. Because you can only eat them when there still in their larva stage which only lasts a day or two.
