have you tried reinstalling it? had the same problem in the past with an older version of it. i wouldnt work but after reinstalling it suddenly did what it was supposed to do. sadly it crashed a few times. if you dont find a useful software, what about taking a lot of screenshots in rapid succession and creating a video out of these images? for making a video with the images you could use Blaze Media --- and create a video with them. if you want, you can also choose background music for the video. havent tried this feature yet, but im sure it would work well.
http://www.planetgamecam.com/ A free version of camtasia, Marforce caught me onto it. I use it to record raids in World of Warcraft, and it doesn't quite take up as much memory usage while running it.
