well my dad picked up this new motorola razr xx3 from cingular when he got his new blackberry. I just opened the box today because the razr was ment for motivation so i would graduate and then get the phone. So my question is is there any way to tight the spring? I mean whenever i close it, it seems kinda loose and rather slow compared to other razrs that clamp down quickly.

if this is in the wrong section would a mod be so kind to move this to the correct one.

I don't think you can do it yourself and as far as I know about it.. Use a regular screw driver of that same size.. I think it might work else take it to some service centre of Motrolla and they might help you out lol!

I will tell you how to do it once I get to work. I have modded many a Razr, so I know my way around them quite well...

I have taken may phone apart before. For this you need a T5 & T6screwdriver. BUT, the razor is very well built internaly and i don't think you should take it apart yourself, also it's new lol.
