Ok i need help with these 2 problems NOTE IN BOTH CASES I DIDNT HAVE A FIREWALL ON SO ON STUFF ABOUT FIREWALLS PLZ Problem 1: When i log on to MSN i am limited to speak with only a few people If i try to speak to people other than a few, i just disconnect. The SPLIT second i talk to som1 i disconnect..... This problem happens usually 50% of the time most of the time it is fine Any1 no what the issue is with this? Problem 2: When i try uploading something, ANYTHING except for a picture So when i upload something bigger than a picture/sig or w/e It gets to about 25% and then my whole Internet laggs up and it wont work until i Log Off/Restart/Shut Down my computer. This only happens when i am uploading something, yet on my Dad/Sister's Computers it is fine Help plz BOTH THESE PROBLEMS ARE DRIVING ME NUTS! HELP ME PLZ sad.gif
Weird problems perhaps. Could it be spyware as you did say you didn't have a firewall, making you more likely to download this stuff unknowingly. I'd do a scan with Ad-Aware (www.lavasoft.de) first off. If it isn't too big a hassle, you could always try backing up all your files then re-formatting your HDD with a clean install of Windows/other OS. This seems to be more of a problem with your computer specifically rather than your network or internet connection.
Try scanning for Spyware/Adware. Maybe a virus scan wouldn't hurt. If not try clearing up your temp and those .sqm files for MSN Messenger. Also try clearing cookies and cache. If those don't work, then I can't help.
