Since I'm 20x better at creating art outside of the computer, I was wondering if their was a way I could combine the two. Any techniques, suggestions, anything on this subject would be appreciated =]

Yea. You know like Anime renders? You could kinda do stuff like that. Make renders you think would look good in tags...and you could color them and stuff on the computer and then use them in a tag.

Idk if thats what you had in mind though haha.

Scan your drawings or whatever you do and do postwork in PS.

I'm same as you, I've been traditional drawing for 6 years and digi-drawing for 1.

Part 2 of my Illy tut teaches you how to turn lineart into a full Illy'd drawing. Check that out if you want.

You can also do it in Photoshop.

How to create a mixed media piece is really up to the artist to decide.

I was thinking along the lines of a digital collage. You create many paintings, drawings, etc physically. And you combine them into a collage digitally. Just my idea though. -.-

If you are serious about it then get a graphics tablet, its like a pen for the computer specially made for drawing.

They vary in prices but there not too expensive.

Then do digital paintings ect, closest you will get I think.

Like someone else said, probably scanning your drawings into PS. This gives a nice effect, and with some techniques for postwork you could do very good.

I do sketches outside of ps and then scan the lineart in and do post work, I think it looks 100x better than just doing it in ps

You can make effects and junk outside of the computer. Drawing like lightning or whatever makes for some cool effects.
