I'm not a --- at this, nor good at it ^_^. Ok here's the deal, I downloaded a template uploaded it to my site, edited in a html editor in the file manager. Now, instead of showing the template, its showing this ( http://www.casusbelli-css.com/index.html ). When I edit the index.html in the editor, it shows the template, when I go to the site, it doesnt :\ . Whats wrong? Also, jpgs aren't showing.

    Thanks in Advance.

Ok I think I had the same problem as you but I forget how to fix it. What you need to do is edit the html on your computer using note pad or dreamweaver. Once you done that delete the index file on your site. If you still see a page on your site with no error then go look in you have another index file on the site. Once you done that upload the new index file. If that doesn't work please post the index file here or pm me and I'll help you :)

I forgot to add that I bought the domain yesterday :\ . I asked my friend and he say I should wait another day and see. So I'm gonna wait 1 day and then come back if that doesn't do it. Thanks man!

Yeah I noticed that go daddy still had ads on your site. Ususally it takes 24-48 hours max for the domain to start working. After that you contact them ask whats wrong.

You might want to make sure that the jpegs are in the images folder, cause sometimes the coding calls for an images folder. Also make sure it doesnt use gif or something in the coding, cause mine sites use .gif files.

The domain either needs to settle (24-48 h/r) or you haven't got it pointing anywhere.

thats right. you need to give it 24-48 hours for the DNS servers to replicate around the world

Yeah, another thing you can do is edit your hosts file (Google it) so your computer knows which DNS (Domain Name Server) to go to after you type in a certain address.

Other times the error is simply rectified by opening Command Prompt (Start > Run > type: cmd) and then type in: ipconfig/flushdns
