Happend recently, for some reason, my computer freezes every couple of seconds. Tried scanning for viruses, but didn't find anything. Could someone help?

Try downloading FreeRAM XP --- off download.com

See if your RAM is being overloaded or anything.

Heat could also be an issue.

Open up your case, get all the dust out, and try running the PC with a floor fan or something blowing inwards and see if you still have such problems.

Sounds like a Virus/Spyware problem. Remember to always use protection.

well when you scan for virus's that you think are causing major problems always do it in safe mode without anything else running.... But there are other reasons that cause freezing also. Overheating frequently does it but normally if it over heats it will shutdown/restart. ram and swap files can also cause system hang try increasing virtual memory if no virus's are found
