Help I miss my Hp COmputer :(

    my computer starts but then it gets to the windows Xp screen and says
    "the instruction at "0x77f781e3" referenced memory at "0x010db000" the memory could not be read"
    then i hit ok and it restarts please help in detail

    first thing i think of when i see that. try safemode. second thing if i can't get into safe mode. reformat. i keep things easy. if you can't get to reformat. assume new ram needed. i'd wait for someone else to post before taking my actions though >.>

    i had the same problem and my comp was shot.

    idk much about computer programming, but the people at the shop said i had a memory problem, so i had to buy new memory

    it could be a faulty chip of ram, how many stick do you have in the pc?

    if you have 2, remove one, and reboot, then if the same error occurs, remove the other one and place the first one you took out back in

    if you still have the same prob, then id say your ram is shot

    yeah RAM or something. i had this too i got a new hdd and it worked o.o.
    try replacing ram or hdd.
    Or static discharge if its a laptop.
