I use style xp and i dont notice any differance in speed then when it was off but then again i dont do a lot of gaming on my pc so...
I've unlocked it but when I try to apply the .msstyle file it goes to appearance, but the theme doesn't show up.

I seem to be having a problem with the replacer. when I replace the original uxtheme file with the modifed one it says that I can not back it up for some reason.. also when I apply the skin I have dled not all of it shows and it says error: can not apply visual skin, access denied I'm so sad
This was on my laptop i use at my high school, (Leased it) When i tryed this the first time, i screwed up big time in which i only used the replacer thinking that it would work even without the modified version of the uxtheme.dll. Well what happen was after it was done i rebooted and my laptop was completed f'ed-up. i couldn't log on i was getting error messages saying "unable to open xcopyx, "unable to open uxtheme.dll", "unable to open explorer.exe" ect. I tryed going into safe mode hoping that it work...nope wasn't able to. so i tryed using my copy of xp ---, still didn't work. so i had to take it to the tech center at my high school and the had to fix some errors that were on the hard drive then formatted it. I swear i hate these laptops. So i went back to using windowblinds but i am very tempted to try again the correct way.

heres a tip never use anything from windows blinds. they might look good but they will screw up your computer later on
