Well i use to have this program called GIMP way back, and i hade all my pictures set to open with GIMP when i installed the program i seted it to that. And i just uninstalled it today cause i have PhotoShop 7 so when i did all the pictures that were set to it just went to the "open with" icon and photoshop 7 is not on the list, i know you probably would say "right click the file go to properties then on the open with field click "change" then browse for photoshop" well i thought that would work, but when i click photoshop 7 then hit ok, it does not add it and the image stays like it was. So my question is how can i get ALL my image files to open with photoshop?
Im not really sure but my question is...why do you want all images to open with photoshop?...i mean you have to sit through the splash screen and if you have a lot of brushes then what good is having photoshop load when you can just use a picture viewer thing.?
Cause i rather just click a photo and it loads in photoshop iunno lazy? just they way i like it i guess? so i can just right click open with my image view if i wanna view it? and even when i want to open it in photoshop i have to load photoshop first then open the picture in there, cause when i rightclick the image photoshop is not on the list, could someone at least help me in gettong photoshop on the list?
when you installed ps there was an option to select which files opened in ps, you should have selected all image types. But you can do as the guy above suggested.
right click on one pic and click on open with. then find photoshop and click on always open with this prgrame and click ok.
