What Do You Call Thongs Where You Come From

    Also, there's "G-string." I asked a friend if she had an extra G-string that I could borrow, because mine broke. Sure enough, she pulled down her pants a little and showed me her underwear. I started laughing and showed her my broken guitar string.

    You're funny. Everyone knows that men like me NEVER, under ANY circumstance, ask for directions to ANYTHING (that includes shoes).

    They're chicks underwear here.
    We call the footwear either sandals or flip flops.

    In Australia we also have slippers and sandals though.

    Thongs: Bottom of a shoe, with 2 straps going up that connect and you put the little bit that goes down between your big and second toe (That was hard to explain lol)

    Sandals: Open shows with straps (like velcro straps) that connect the shoe to your foot

    Slippers: Wooly shoes you would usually wear when you're feet are cold but you wouldn't usually wear them out.

    Well, at least generally I think that's what most Australians call them, most here anyway :P

    Haha, my filipino is so bad... incheladas or something like that. I'm from Cavite but moved to canada :D.

    For thongs, it just thongs. For sandals, it's sandals, for sneakers, it's sneakers or shoes.

    Lol yeah in Filipino it's actually spelled tsinelas. But in English we call it slippers. XD
