My computer won't start up, it keeps going to the "Start Windows Normally" page, and then when I press enter on that, it keeps restarting my computer, I dunno what to do.

Cause this morning and I turned off my computer by just pressing the power button and holding it, but when I got back from school that happen.

So sometimes, I try windows normally, safe mode, safe mode with network and that other one and last known good config.

What else is there to do? My computer is a custom built. Any ideas people?

I have no idea but I would suggest in the future going to Start > Turn Off Computer. Its safer...just pressing the Power Button can ruin the computer....happened to my father just recently.

Can you tell us the excact moment that your pc restarts? What do you see in the last few milliseconds before it reboots? Does it reboot firectly after pressing enter, or does it take a while and does it show some other stuff first?

When it reboots, it shows the Windows XP --- logo, then after like few repetition of the bar that its loading, it hangs for a few miliseconds and reboots and takes me back to that place

Okay, I found out how to fix the problem. I just had to put my hard drive into another PC and run chkdsk on it.

That could be a sign of hard drive failure.

It could be wise to get a program to check the hard drive errors as it could be on the way out and need of replacement.

    Nah, I already fixed it.
