Simple who do you think's the king? don't forget you're reason.

Me, i think Tupac is and will forever remain the king, because no matter how much money other rappers make or records they sell, none other then him to this date have really had a goal. Tupac took ghetto life and poverty and made it visable to the U.S powers, eg Ronald Ragan, Condalisa.

Tupac also gave back to the community, he handed out $400,000 worth of turkeys on a block in compton one thanksgiving. Which Deathrow payed for.

He flew from one side of the U.S to the other when he recieved a letter from a dieing childs parents to be by his side, when he found out his last wish was to meet Tupac before he died, then he named one of his recording titles " Josh's dream "

He went to a club after the release of 2pacalips and he noticed no one was dancing with a chick in a wheelchair, and he danced with her for 4 hours.

I didnt see B.I.G doing none of them things, as with most artists these days.

Tupac was the realest, Before he was famiouse, he found out a crew was looking for him, he went home straped up with a vest and ever gun he had and knocked on this dudes door, and said " hear you looking for me " Apparently Tupacs uncle put the word out Tupac wasnt to be touched, but those guys respected him after that.

    Tupac's a king... IMO.

    Thoughts?

Biggie was sick, but pac was more real and had more relevant things to rap about.

"Tupac is the king simply cuz Biggie doesnt do stuff like that. Tupac got shot how many times Biggie didnt. "

I dont think getting shot has anything to do with lyrical genius, my point being the bloke down the block who raps got shot that dosn't make him the best ( not really a bloke down the road ofcourse ) Other wise 50 cent would by your logic be the best?

Tupac rapped for the ni99az ( don't confuse ni99az with ni99ers ) and Big rapped for the women.

"do you mean king like, the best rapper? "

Yea pete i do, but not so much from a technical aspect, he didnt have the best vocab, or the best structure but what he spoke made up for that, i mean people like JMT and I.T are straight ILL, but Tupac's life told a story alot of people were living in language they could relate too.

I think ultimatly he internalized his roll in a movie, i think it was " Above The Rim " Where he played " Bird " a thug, and thats when Tupac became ruthless and a little side tracked from his work.... It's kinda like The Game is now, since he played " Big Meat " in " Waist Deep " I think thats what lead to most of the troubles in his life up untill his murder.

"Sorry, but I think Biggie is a little overrated..."
I agree, he had nice flow and you could chill to his music, or play it in the club ect ...

If anyone has heard from the new Shady album " The Re-Up " he (eminem) speaks by saying somthing along the lines " when they speak on the best, im no where though of as that, maybe they say shady somewhere after big or pac, but not A, more like Z " 50 says " I want them to love me, like they love pac ". Whcih agrovates me because they simply cant see they do nothing for anyone but themselves, its like Saigon says " Yea yo' ice is nice, but what you tryin to do for the fight? "

NAS hit it on the head when he said hiphop is dead, its now just about money, sing a hook " I'll take you to the candy shop ", " will the real slim shady please stand up? ", " This is how we do " and get a girl to shake her arse and on cam.

One final quote from a ILL rapper called Immortal Technique taken from the track " Industrial Revolution " " If you go platnum its got nothing to do with luck// It just means a million people are as DUMB AS PHUCK// "

Anyone wanan collab on a tupac Tag get at me.

Tupc by far. I dont really like rap much, but Im kinda coming around to it, but I already admire Tupac for how poetic his music was.

    Im sure there is a minority. Might be a group of deaf people, not just because they can't hear him, of what they hear he mumbles liek they do. o_O;

More like IS, there is still tons of unreleased tracks yet to come out. He recorded like 7 songs a day for 12 months before his death ...

But yea, if you havn't seen yet, his poetry is awsome too, i love " in the event of my demise " .... I have it quoted on my desk in my room in TAG lettering.
