Well, over the past few weeks I have been piled with work (excl. the jobs here on GR). I am know rushing and trying to get everything together to clear this mess, but I realize this could have been prevented w/ better time management skills. So, being a 14 year old kid, I do procrastinate....a lot...and it does screw me over sometimes...so anyone got any tips or care to share how they manage their time?

Take your time. If you are in a bind set small goals to reach within a time period.

Plus it is a Game Renders service. I am sure if you talked to some of the people and told them about the rush of traffic and tons of projects they would do that they would understand and wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for coding.

    P.s.

Thanks for telling me about that template. I filed the paypal fraud and should get my money back soon :D

Beyond the coding, its finals time and its as if school itself has turned against me. Normally, I can pull of an A average, but not Im trying a lot harder than I should be to maintain that A and its leaving me tired. The goals thing is nice though, but its these school projects and stuff that get to me. <_<

It's all about disciplining yourself to get rid of the distractions and just focus on the task at hand. It isn't worth putting things off for too long, you're better off getting them done a little bit at a time or earlier so that you don't stress yourself out when it gets to crunch time. It's easy to set up a schedule of when you'll do this and that, the tough part is acting on it and staying on task with it. I tend to put off papers and stuff until the last night, and then it ends up taking me entire nights to write a 3 page paper because I let myself get distracted way too easily. Believe me, start working on keeping yourself disciplined now, it'll pay off later on.

well one thing I learned is if your flooded with stuff you know you are not going to be able to do. drop the least important than prioritize what is most important on down. set time limits on the stuff and if school is going on you shouldn't really be setting yourself up for so much until you have a break on school.

The stuff you do here should not run your personal life, that comes first then if this should be your priority by option be my guest but I think your school should be your main focus at this point.

Im going through my A-Level exams at the moment, the way i tend to work is just do 1 hour working and then 30 mins resting, its really easy that way. Another way to do it also though is to just set yourself a work time, like 3 hours in 1 day and just do 3 hours non stop, then you've got the rest of the day to rest and you know you've done your bit to keep up to date.
If you keep up a 3 hour a day regime then once it gets to the point where you've caught up with homework you can cut down to 2 hours and only go 3 hours when you have essays due etc. If ya keep in your head that Mon-Fri is work time and the weekend is pleasure time then when you do have time away from working then you'll be more grateful for it. Thats what i always found. I do a mix of the 2 i said above and im a B-A student in hard subjects... Plus i have a social life which in my opinions is just as important as grades.

Anyways the same things dont work for everyone but there isnt any magic technique to get the best without putting in the hours, in the end it does come down to the amount you put in. Hopefully this helped :)

Relax, always have confidence in yourself, be cool if you know what i mean.
Do NOT let anything stress you, you must be as strong as possible and that way time wouldn't mean anything to you.

Then you'd gain the ability to not miss a thing in your schedule (mental one, because at such stage you wont really be needing an actual schedule), that's how some people manage to keep an extremely long schedule without ever breaking it even if more things come along and are always ready for more.

It might be hard to gain these abilities but you must not give up, slowly build these privileges and your whole life will change.

    there.

    jibberish

    All I know
    time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
    The clock ticks life away
    I tried so hard
    And got so far
    But in the end
    It doesn't even matter

if the meaning of life is love, and love is when you care about someone as yourself and help others, then 'to live' is to 'show love', therefore the only REAL obstacle in life is to live.

so just find someone to love and help others.
and pass. but don't let that stress you.
take 5 years. your parents will hate you.
    but o'well.

oh i forgot your 14 lol
prob wont understand or think this is bs
if not, maybe in some years.
