Does anyone know of any splatter brush tutorials, I have tried deviantART and google, but can't find any. If you have one or know of one, a link would be nice.

    -Thanks

Like, how to make splatter brushes?

Just mess around with the brush settings with a hard round brush.

Or. Alternatively. If you want more...authentic ones.

Get a plain white piece of paper, some black paint and splatter it onto it.
Let it dry then Scan into Photoshop, raise the contrast. Done. :)

When I download a brush and use it I don't always completely feel like I've done the entire piece on my own. I know it's weird, and hard to understand. I like to do things on my own completely, especially when it comes to these things. The project I'm doing is a big one too.

Yes, i'm looking for a how to make tutorial.

    So yeah.

Basically, either mess around with brush dynamics (scatter and shape) with a hard round brush, or get a piece of paper and splatter real paint/ink onto it, scan it, increase contrast/levels, and take a part you like.

the easiest trick to making them digitally is with a good eraser. make a nice squiggly eraser (doesnt need to be spatter, just irregular shaped), mess with the brush dynamics, especially size jitter and scattering and erase. usually something good will boil out.

instead of ink u can also use coffee,im pretty shure it will work and i would not be surprised if it has been done before.
coffee is dry faster and u probably got it @ home anyway ,while u mabey should buy ink ;)
