Ok guys i have been looking to find a good competition based theme, i have just asked Dementia and he has just given me an awesome idea that will benefit the community and maybe get your name out there a little more. What you have to do. This will be based on your OWN resources that you will post for free for the community to learn from, whether this be tutorials, signatures, large pieces, c4d's etc. All resources that you post will be rated by a number of judges, though myself and Dementia do not really like ratings we think this could be good for this idea. For example: Say if Dementia posted 3 awesome tutorials and the judges thought these were very well explained, had a nice outcome etc, he would gain 9 points from that. Very Good - 3 points. Average - 2 points. Anyone can do it - 1 point. Date this will start: TODAY! Date this will end: 21st July. Rules: The resources you post have to be made by yourself/and or paid by you from your OWN credits, you may not use any kind of organization to do this/and or to help you out. Using anything like the GR Mafia is forbidden and you will be disqualified. Only resources that will be included in this will be the ones posted AFTER this competition started, any resources posted BEFORE this competition does not count. The resources you post must be posted on GR and GR only until the end of this competition, you may then post them elsewhere. Judges: Myself. Dementia. -=DaRKSTaR=- Painore Prizes: 1st place winner - prem membership/and or a DA subscription paid by myself. 2nd place winner - 500 credits from myself. 3rd place winner - 250 credits from myself. Remember guys this is for the COMMUNITY, i am doing this for you guys, i will gain nothing from this. Members who are participating: HellRaid Chakka Geko JL Rubidox vert. When you have posted something put the link to the thread in here. Side note: rules are perfectly allowed to be adjusted as we see fit without notifying you personally, so be sure to check this thread often, as we are trying to figure out ways to stop any form of scams happening (IE - site owners releasing site resources instead of their own resouces, etc.) and keeping this competition as fair as possible.
As a note, if the winner exceeds 10 total resouces deemed as 'very good' I will personally give 500 credits to them (this applies for first, second, and third place positions).

A great Competition idea, I am not so pleased with the prizes though, with so much time, there should at least be more to win ! I will be donating some money to the Competition prize, when I get my 16.5K GR Credits back from Andrew. I would love to take part in this, with so much time to do things, I have plenty of Scope, because I can wait until after my exams, so then I can spend time and make some awesome pieces of work!
Sorry that you are unhappy with the prizes but i am not loaded lol... this is all coming out of my own pocket and credits that i have personally gained. Everything will be looked through in due time, thanks to the guys who have posted some resources already
what if the tutorials have been posted already? anyway These have been posted. We don't want anything being given to us that has been posted already on this forum and others, we want things that have not been posted elsewhere and resources that have been posted AFTER this competition started, we want nothing from before. Also i wanted you guys to post your resources in the appropriate parts of the forum for others to use, instead i have created a new thread and put your resources into that. Your name has been added above all psd's, fractals, tutorials etc and i have also stated that i do not own any rights over the things posted in there.
