Just got the CD and it really wasn't I expected when I first listened to it. But actually started to like it, but I like their old style better.

I agree with 1,000 Watts. But when I heard Bleed it Out, it was definitely their old style.

Yeah..They have a couple songs on there that are like the old them but then the rest are pretty different. Some are all rap, too. For example: Hands Held High. It's also one of my favorite songs on the album, mainly because of it's message.

This is one of the BEST albums.

*COD* EDIT YOUR POST, NO TALKING ABOUT ILLEGAL WAREZ~! **

It was so great, I love the feelings you get from it, it's not always sad but the beats are wicked.

Sounds different but I got used to it just as when "10,000 Fists" came out by Disturbed.

personally, i would rate the album no higher than a 6/10

i think this was a disappointment and a major step down in comparison to Meteora :P

I'd have to say between Meteora and Hybrid Theory, that H.T. was better. But that's just my opinnion. I'd also have to say, musically, this is a great album. It may not be the LP that we're all used to. But I think it's a good album. And for most people, it takes a little time for the album to grow on you.

IMO this album fails compared to their older albums, there are a couple of songs that are pretty good, but i think their older style was much better and unique, now when i listen to their new album it doesnt feel like linkin park anymore.

Haven't read the other posts and I don't want to.

    Here's my opinion.

When they said it was going to be a heavier album than their past records, I was pumped.

Got the CD, only to find out that more than half the songs are slow-er.

Was not expecting that and I was quite upset.

But then I started to listening to it and I guess it's one of those CDs that grows on you.

    Great CD.

    8/10

I agree. it is definately that type of CD... And yeah, only a few of the songs are "Heavier".... But that all depends on your opinnion of "Heavy". If it's guitars or w/e.. Sure, some songs are heavier.. If "heavy" means more swears or soemthing..Yeah, some songs are heavier... Either way, I'd say it's a great album, but it has to grow on you...I've already listened to it 20+ times on my iPod. :P
