My Xbox 360 is connected to the internet through a Ethernet connection to my PC that has a shared wireless connection to my wireless router somewhere else in my house. Now, whenever I try to connect to xbox live it always fails on MTU, I have downloaded a program to change the MTU settings on my PC and I have changed it to 1364, 1365, 1340, 1380 and none of them worked, I have tried using crossover cables and standard Ethernet cables but it still gets stuck on MTU. I have called up xbox support (never got connected to an customer support agent) and emailed them but they gave me a load of crap that didnt work. The media connection works though. Please help.

have you enabled ics (internet connection sharing) on both the wireless and wired connection. I have spent like 3 hours today trying to connect my mates up with no luck
If you plug it in to your xbox, and the other side to the pc, it wont work. What you need to do if you dont have a router, plug the wire from the modem into the xbox.
I do not recommend playing it on a wireless connection as you will experience large amounts of packet loss.
