Played the beta at my friends house, and it's alot of fun. There are a few places that should be fixed, a few bugs (such as accurate vehicle damage) but other then a few minor things, it's amazing. Also, something I noticed, is that they reduced the damage of grenades, now they don't kill everyone on the map when you use them. Controls are a bit weird at first but come in handy. Can't wait to see something of the campaign.
The beta is amazingly fun... Grenades are weaker, which is good before they were too strong.. The AR is a good starter weapon for it.. Weapons are balanced, like the maps, Valhalla is my least fav. but its fun at some points.
I concur XxHaVokxX. Valhalla is my least favorite and the game is very balanced. Just depends of your skills to win.
it didnt take me too long to download. i played crackdown all day and went to download halo3 and i just got on the computer and looked at my friends stats for the game and when i was done the game was already downloaded. i guess microsoft wasnt kiddin when they said downloads are like 3x faster with the update
I really am jealous of all of you that have the beta...I'm forced to do other things besides play games until Monday. How does that background downloading thing (where it downloads when it's off) work?
You can't use it for the Halo 3 beta when DLing from Crackdown, but for everything else it works great. All you do is enable it in the Systems blade and then download something and it downloads after 360 is turned off. Really nice.
I love Valhalla, I think High Ground is lame..the map isn't balanced..it's one team with an advantage (the Base) and the other team is screwed (the Beach)
Yae the guys on the beach get the sniper and rockets though, And it's very easy to nade the Laser, Espacially with those other sticky nades (not plasma)
That's why they added those weapons like the shield drainer and such. Are there vehicles in High Ground?
