Need Help With Choosing Parts For Pc

    I Need a case, motherboard, CPU, ram, PSU, and GFX card for under 350 bucks.. All it needs to do is run a browser... not for gaming or anything like that.. i found something for 320 but not sure if thats good enough... from newegg please.. no hard drive and cd rom.. might get a hsf tho since stocks arent good..

    no, its not for me, the guys home like from 11pm to 10am like all day, so he wont need much... um, 2gb isnt exactly for him its for me, im giving him my 1gb and taking the 2gb.. any chance intel instead of amd?

    thanks for the rest of those tho


    'the case doesnt have to be "good".. but not the cheapest either.

    go with that combo and that cheepo RAM, sounds like he's just doing general use type of things. he doesn't need breakneck performance or anything.
    a pentium D might not game as well as an athlon, but it does multitask better.

    I'm too lazy to look around... go w/ the PSU and case BTK recommended.

    video card - doesn't matter, 7300GT is he does intend to do SOME gaming.

    Yea, i was ganna get that psu, the case, the cheap combo, and thats the chip i have now and it does do good gaming, at least for me. He said he does play some counter strike every now and then..

    Drop the secondary cooler. There is no point. You might see a 5-10C drop, who cares. If the person doesn't do any overclocking, and the heatsink is mounted correctly, he should see 40-50C with stock.

    With the money saved from no secondary heatsink, get a 7600GT, or some x1600. Pretty must anything is better than the 7300GT, and it is nice to have a card capable of playing a game should the time come.

    the stock cooler is loud.

    and that PD805 runs hotter stock than our c2ds do with a 50% OC.
