Ok so i went to go boot up my computer and it just hung around the dell boot screen, so then my sister thought it would go away if she turned off the pc so she did and then i restarted it and got this: I have no clue what this mean, please god tell me my computer still works
Most likely nobody at this forums will be able to help you with this issue. Just do as it says: contact the dell support.
dell support wont do sh!t to help the situation, its like talking to donnie the retard. Merged Post: :bump:
Did you make any changes to the PC (hardware or software wise) recently? Can you enter bios setup (tap F2)? EDIT: check this link out http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums...=256219#M280609
Welcome to the world of Dell. Chances are you'll need a new motherboard, which will require a new case, possibly ram, so by that point, you may as well RMA that Devious, expensive, loud, lame piece of machinery.
To fix that, u'll need to clean some stuff from the BIOS, I recomend having Dell on the line for that.
the screen changes to a different checkpoint whenever we restart it [Volp] the only recent software i put on there was software for our camera What do you mean? how do i do that?
to clear CMOS just take the 3v Lithium Cell battery out and uplug the machine wait a few min and restart
whoops i missed that sorry, also should i unplug anything from the computer like speakers and all that stuff?
Dell is crap. Basically that's all there is to it. As a business it's their goal to make money, they make money by sell products for a profit, they make the items have higher profit margins by skimping on costs. Then you the consumer must pay.
