ive had sc since like the year of its release, if not the year after.... all i can say is.... ITS ABOUT TIME!!!! ps: blizzard was hinting at sc2 for at least a week now so i knew they where gonna announce it at the korean expo
Looks great. I love in the gameplay trailer how the combat is actually fast-paced. I <3 Blizzard and their mac support.
Yeah, it's still RTS, I don't get it though, it's just better looking with more units.. they didn't add anything else?
They obviously have a better map editor, the WC3 one was complex and versatile. Other things I think we'll have to wait for.
Exactly, makes it sound not worth it.. WC3 they have added heroes, SC2.. nothing but GFX :S My PC can't handle that crap
The whole thing about StarCraft is that the races where completely different, yet somehow balanced, all other RTS games have similar units etc. I'm looking forward to SC2, and theres a little ray of hope that its eventual expansion pack will include the hybrid race (anyones whos played SC will remember this) and DirectX 10 *drools*
If I do not remember totally uncorrect, then Blizz did not mention the Burning Legion when they announced Warcraft III in the first place. Also if you look on hte FAQ, then they say when it is done. A lot can change by that time. Finally. Would be so blizz like if they first announce a fourth faction/race in the 3 last month of development Also I would point out that what I look a lot forward to is the Story Line. I mean. Kerrigan is pretty much victorious in SC1 and Duran is expected to be an Xel'Naga. So. I beleive this game will not fail the expections that meny gamers have. ' EDIT: About DirectX 10. At the minute they say they will inplant Havok parts in their Engine, so I beleive this will be a DX10 game Because they say maybe atm is that meny people in the Computer industry is against that DX10 is only for Vista that meny, meny, meny people dislike. So I can only agree that they are still planning on that front.
I just watched some videos and wow this game look awesome. What's the name of that yellow/blue race ? and what's the name of that red race ? Just hope i will be abble to play with my computer.
