Tomorrow, May 19th, Blizzard will be announcing a new game. People say that it might be Starcraft 2, other's say that it will be Diablo 3, and some say that it will be a completely new franchise. What do you think?
It hard to say. I'm hoping for a new franchise tops and warcraft 4 secondly. Hopefully whatever they make will rock, World of Warcraft was a disapointment on their part in the gaming, they should stick with their best talent, RTS. Don't flame me, this is my own gamer opinion. I tried WoW and don't like it as much as other mmorpgs like gw.
Well I hope it will be Warcraft IV because I was a fan of Warcraft since I was a kid or maybe another Starcraft would be good.
i won't flame ya, i actually agree with you. i'd like to see a completely new franchise. i just hope that it won't be anything like wow.
Knowing Blizzard, with all they money they make off of WoW, this RTS will have an unlimited bunget of cash to improve on graphics, gameplay, story, ect. Hopefully, it will be a game to remember.
It can't be Warcraft IV. That would wreck the whole of the persistent world of WoW. Secondly, they do put some of WoW money towards updates, but yeah, they are making a lot. I'm wanting Starcraft 2, and I think the Koreans may want it too. Blizzard don't want to disappoint though. New franchise might be interesting. They made other games than RTSs and RPGs, but those are their most famous games.
i dont care what anyone makes now. just waiting for warhammer online. starcraft 2 would be nice though.
i told my brothers about this and he made a good point your best bet here is its going to be starcraft 2 this is because though theres hype of diablo 3, the people that make diablo 3 are coming out with hellgate london so the chances of them doing both are very slim
ok from what i've heard blizzard will be demonstrating something called a medusa demo. i've also heard that it might be connected to starcraft because there's a similar character in starcraft, but in that case wouldn't it be starcraft: medusa? anyways i'm becoming more convinced that this will be a new franchise. turns out it's starcraft 2
It hasn't been announced yet, though that is what most speculate. Their is actually going to be THREE games announced in the year 2007 by Blizzard, so keep that in mind.
About diablo 3, yes, the lead developers and stuff left to form Flagship Studios to work on Hellgate: London and some formed ArenaNet, to make Guild Wars. They're both spiritual successors to Diablo anyway.
Just saw IGN update with screenshots, cool Never played SC1, but i'm sure i'll pick em up and try em along with CNC.
i dont know. im a fan of warcraft but they would have to make it so warcarft 3 maps work with 4 if they make one. what would war craft be with out dota?
