Gfx Card Error .

When I am playing games I get this error :





GFX card : ATI Radeon™ X1650 SE 1024MB HyperMemory™

and btw: I just noticed today I can't open my ATi CatalYst control center :blink:

 

restart steam?

 

I don't get this only when I play steam .

I get when I play NFS: Carbon , RS1....

 

Are you tabbing out during game? Or is this just random? If you tabbing your might not have enough virtual memory.

 

No I am not tabbing , and how do I check the Virtual Memory ?

 

In Xp. Go to Control Panel and click System> Advanced >Performance settings Advanced> Virtual Memory. I think.. trying to remember, i've been using Vista. Should be the same. Might want to try reinstalling steam, if you haven't already.

My Virtual memory is at 2345 MB ..enough ? good ?

And on the steam site , I don't switch and I get this error + I get this also with other games , but then i don't need to shut down the game , but then my games crash for like 1 max 2 sec and then i go again ...

My advice si to try reinstalling DirectX and your graphics driver.

I'm assuming you're using Vista 32bit(by the gay hallucinogenic GUI)

I fuxking pissed off that I bought this ---- Packard Bell , all I have with it is problems ..

Grr...i am getting sick of it ..

 

it's like that with any OEM computer.

DIY is the way to go I've found out. The only time you have to fix problems is when(usually in search of enhanced performance) you create them yourself.

 

When I try to re-install my ------ing gfx drivers i get like 5000000million errors and when i download the ---- drivers from packardbell site it's is installed , pc restarted and what then? i lost all my gfx software.. everything , no gfx driver even it say it's installed i have anything no catalyst nothing
i try to start game , dadam what do we get? again error , you're gfx software couldn't be found bnlablabla

i sujest completly redoing your pc again as in go back to teh start, try reinstalling your drivers. are you using x64 or x32 ????

32bit , and first i was thinking about doing one my self but my ------ing parents were crying , nah buy a new one from shop blablabla..

Now they don't care about this and I sit here with a ---- pc

 

Well try doing asystem restore back to the very start and let it TRY and reconigse your graphics card..... on teh other hand it might just be a faulty graphics card ???

 

It was working ok this morning.

But I tried today to enter catalyst and i won't open , and the next restart i did all was gone .

Alright , downloaded he driver + DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer

And this is what I get when I install ATi driver :
