    I would have gone with a c2d 6600 its still more powerful than the 6000+ even though its at 2.4 while the 6000+ is at 2.9 i think

    I am getting home because it is 125au compared to 205au for p-ro or media center.

    The 6000+ runs at 3.0GHz, a replacement for the AMD FX-74.

    umm no...

    the FX74 is TWO of those it's a dual CPU kit of two dualc ore processors for a 4 core system.

    it's the replacement of the Fx64

    only thing I see that's poor with your system is the 8600 that thing, for the money sucks. 7950GT is faster and the 7900GS is a fair deal cheaper while offering comparable performance. x1950GT/--- is also a better buy.
    and 8600 is less than half of a 8800GTS.

    I changed my order to a Leadtek 640m 8800GTS. Heard it was alot better.

    poor cable management, decent CPU but not insane, fairly nice overall

    Good looking comp, but pretty messy inside. I would consider neatening it up with the clear window there.

    ty bud, I will post pictures of my new rig when it comes next thursday. It got brought forward a day so hopefully all the parts arrive on time. I will post a pic of my screen and keyboard+mouse tomorrow as I bought them from a different store and got them today.

    All i could afford at the time (gfx card is next to be upgraded) its been heavy modded with checkerplate and a big QIII logo on the side. Will post some pics when i get home :)
