Hey whats everyones thoughts on this band im gonna post mine and a review of a gig of theirs i went to Review: My Chemical Romance a band so hyped up all i had at school for weeks before hand was oh my god can you belvie were going to see gerrard and hear them live. I personally thought there alright they have some good songs no the new record but the old one was much better so i wasnt very hyped. Atmosphere was good in the mosh, and they really tried to work all the songs into a story with the stage performance and To be honest even though i despise gerrard way i think he did quite well live in birmingham compared to to times i've heard clips of him live. I think my only grumble would of been Gerrards constant crap attempts at crowd control and their choice of support band Thursday are not the next great band like they described them to be.
The Black Parade is a musical achievement for My Chemical Romance. It's by far more unique and better than their older stuff. Their new look > Their older look. They might be venturing on things by far superior than their horrible first few albums. I do wish the best for this band, as they shift somewhat away from stuff that is normally played today. Kudos for that. Now if Fall Out Boy can get rid of Pete Wentz..
surprisingly so yh but it's a emo mosh so no good trivium mosh was brill. And yeah i like how they changed alot i hope they pull away from bands like fall out boy and panic. Fall out Boy should get rid of Pete then i might actually like them.
emo mosh... is that like hitting the crap out of emo boys? if so count me in. MCR is a nice band and I prefer their new album but sometimes they're just a bit too emo for me :tongue:
i'd rather put a gun to my head and pull the trigger rather than listening to those friggin horror punk wannabes. I didn't have a problem with them when people didn't really know who they were now there just too big and fookin annoying.
It would be nice if some of you could respect other music styles also and not just say "they're ----, id kill myself if I'd have to listen to them" You're just simple minded that way, be a little more open, please. MCR sucked before the Black Parade came out. =/ I still don't understand how people think they're emo. Gerard looked kinda emo-ish before, but now he has awesome short black hair. >=o And their music=pwnage.
I absolutely hate MCR. They should stick to their emo crap and not pose as punks. Gerrard Way sucks live too.

The band uniform really works and looks gothic on them.. Are they the first one to wear that suit? suddenly after that, i can see some groups try to also use that image as the cover album..what a copycat
