Does any have any tips on playing gears? Iv been playing gears for about six months and I'v just beening getting worse. I'm lucky to get 3 kills in ten rounds and I used to get like 20-30. Iv tried takeing a brake from it but im still getting owned left and right, this morning a god damn 5 year old called me a noob.

Does any one have any ideas or what I should do?

    thanks.

Firs off start looking at the screen.
    jk
i find it helpful in the game to be aware of everything. dont look only where a person is hiding. youll get flanked that way

and learn to switch weapons quickly

yep agree with above. You really gotta be aware of your suroundings to make sure people dont come from behind you and on your sides.

As said before, be aware of your surroundings. Watch your kill, see what he is doing and anticipate what he is going to do, then plan out the best course of action and do it.

Knowing your weapons is also useful, figure out the best weapons to use in each situation....and make sure you have a weapon that will be useful in certain situations i.e a shotgun in close corders or a sniper if there is a large open area.

If you know somebody that is good at GoW, ask them for help! It may feel like this is an obvious idea, but many people are too embarrassed to ask for help. After getting a little advice on how I snipe, and lots of practice, I can take on the best. :)

My cousin definitely got a whole lot better doing that. You can just cut a small piece of paper, lick it and stick it on the screen if you don't want to draw on your screen :P
Seriously though it works. Also, learn to lead your shots. Because of the lag, figure out where a person is going and aim just a little bit ahead of the person. You can be deadly if you learn to lead your shots while using the hammerburst.

With weapons, some people are good with them and some are not. If you suck with the sniper then I don't recommend using it until you get better. Boomshot is easy to get good at because of splash damage. Torque can be a good weapon to practice with leading shots. Predict where a person is going and let it go.

If you want to practice, try playing Annex in public matches. A lot of people leave their guard down since they'll respawn but it's a good way to practice or have fun nonetheless.

Oh yeah, if someone's glitching just leave. Main reason why I don't play ranked anymore.
