You dont get it at all, who has the most power here? the auctioneer or the bidder

If two people want the same thing it is gonne be between those two people bidding until he reaches the limit, advantage goes to auctioneer.

Worthless post, why should it matter to you, it doesnt effect you in anyway

Ok. Say you are unsastisfied with the bid. And you decline. If im not wrong. that would be considered a declined OFFER which belongs in OFFERS AND REQUESTS.

Why should it be the sellers risk if they put something up for auction? I am sorry but that is just silly, no matter where you go to bid on something, whether it be ebay, car auctions etc there will ALWAYS be a reserve on that item (whatever the person is selling) If that reserve is not met they will not sell it, the same goes for the things being sold on here. Why should the seller lower their prices if they think it is worth more than the current bid at the time?

You are not entitled to sell anything if you do not wish to do so.

Spam posts? Not really, you are simply starting that persons auction for them, how is that considered spam?

Spam is spam. Just because it doesnt increase your post. doesnt mean it cant be spam. You guys arent getting my point. Again like i said before, you'll most likely disagree because it might ruin your market place. But honestly its dumb.

You have no point tbh, you dont know how auctions work

This is the same for all auctions, there is always a reserve

auc·tion /ˈɔkʃən/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[awk-shuhn] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
    –noun
    1. Also called public sale. a publicly held sale at which property or goods are sold to the highest bidder.

What if the highest bidder is 100 creds? Product should still be sold. And yes, i understand auctions completely.

Its not dumb at all. All major auctions have reserves, if that reserve is not met, the item does not sell. And they also start bids low as well. This wont be changing. We let people run their auctions for a week, but we arent going to force them to sell if they dont get a high enough bid.

And yes, this is entirely different then not allowing someone to retract their bid. How so you might ask? How do we know your not just someone bumping up the bids to be a jackass (not saying you are, just stating an example). Not to mention, someone bidding, then withdrawing, ruins an entire auction because then the next persons highest bid was pointless, etc etc. It creates more problems then its worth.

Not selling, creates no problems. Retracting bid, creates problems.

And thats the end of that.
