Well, I met this texas tourist guy today and his accent... Well.... He said 'I drive a truck!' I replied, 'Are you a trucker' He said, 'No, I drive a truck' My friend(trying to be all american) asks 'Do you drive an SUV?' He said, 'No, I drive a truck' I asked, 'Do you drive a pick-up Truck' He replied, 'HELLYEAH! I DRIVE A PICK-UP TRUCK!' Gotta love Americans, I found that hillarious, just the way he said it and stuff. Don't get many Americans in Scotland... <3 Texas accent. And America accents all over for that fact Random topic, what kind accents do you find cool?
ya i always thought all of the other people from foreign countries who spoke english had accents that seemed like a spin-off of Americans. Mainly the same stuff, just said with more of a twist than in America, which to me just seems plain. Thats pretty cool
I've been told that I have a new zeland accent... which is weird because i've never even been there and I live in southern california. Unlike most Californians though, i fully enunciate my "ing"s and "er"s eh I've heard that west coast americans have the most "natural accents" as in if someone learns english their dialects and accents will more closely mirror it than other accents(example given I can understand a french guy speaking english moreso than a british one)
