Just reading the few posts that say "god isnt real" Have you ever read the bible from genesis to revelation? Do you follow those around you? Do you think its not cool to be a Christian? Why do you not believe in God? And don't say BECAUSE I DON'T because obviously you don't have a logical answer

Because If he was all-powerful and all-mighty, then why would we have a choice? Unless he's sadistic, but the bible says he's all-loving as well. BTW, I do believe in god, just my belief in god is that 'it' is an entity of great energy.

If there was no god (as I believe is it) then there would be no big bang, nothing to give matter the energy it would need to eventually evolve into us.

one thing fargo you have to realize is that most on here are "finding themselves" and with nowadays that means they have to question everything around them and most everything around them involves god. I am not saying there is one cause who am I to say there is I keep what I know and I am not going to share any of it with anybody accept for the question i asked myself to convince myself enough to stop searching cause it was ruining my life. but if you want that question i posted it a little while ago in this thread and I really don't want to retype it.

but anyway back to what I was saying, you have to give everyone here some space and let them figure things on their own cause the more you fuel their hatred for god the more they will stray away from it. not saying by leaving them alone they will just accept god into their lives, but that is their choice and neither you or they have the right to infringe on the right of a free mind.

I want everyone to stop posting about if or not there is a god, in fact it's going to ruin your life cause who cares why not live for today and let your mind weed out the bs and the non-bs and accept what ever it wants cause in the end we will all find out so quit wasting time asking the same old beating the dead horse question and responding to those who question faith.

    STOP STOP STOP

the more you talk about it the more it consumes you.

well i believe that people do'nt believe in god because they have more freedom in beliefs. like i stated before the only people i know my age (18) now days that believe in god have had it forced upon them by other people. Not their decission. and i'm sure if any logical reasonable person with no bias were to take the information we have now days and conclude where humans came from they would develop a theory of god.

++that's the all might all powerful god. not god in a literal sense (creator) which cud be anything really.. a cosmic muffin.

in a way i believe in god. but my god is the second one. i accept that obviously something caused our creation i just don't believe that it's that first god.
so you should not try to attack non-believers of christianity saying that we haven't developed or haven't found god just yet or w/e u are going to say.

OK. What you say online reflects you as a person to those around you. If you choose to act like a jackass, you're seen as a jackass. No, most of us don't know you, so what you show is all we have to go on regarding you as a person. If you're some kid living a double life, one "real" life and one "e-life," that's great, but remember that what you show us reflects you as a person.

P.S. Don't get into the "I have a life and you don't" argument; it never works, seeing as most of the people here have friends, have girlfriends, we've got a couple that are married, quite a few that have made it to college (myself included). Because if you're playing the too-cool-for-the-internet game and calling others on their lives or lack thereof (you yourself just said that we don't know you; you can't have your cake and eat it too), go ahead and do yourself a favor: get out and enjoy your life.

    Oof?
So why do you believe in God?
You realise if Atheism was officially classed as a religion it would be the SECOND biggest in the world?

A HELL OF A LOT OF People don't believe in god, it isn't a trend.

I wasn't brought up to believe in god, but I make up my own mind and I don't intend to blindly worship what an old book has written.

The Bible is NOT fact, it has 100s of mistakes in it, so why SHOULD we believe in it? Why should we believe it?

What's your reason for becoming a Christian? Because an old book told you to become a Christian and lead a virtuous life, etc. etc. Your one of the main reasons that if I was ever to become religous, I woudn't touch Christianity, I don't have a particularly logical reason as to why I don't believe in god, but neither do you, the bible is NOT a logical reason.

Man made God, Not otherwise. That's in the first place.
Second, if God didn't excist, the human kind would've made another one.
Humans make god to seek for support, if God wasn't thought up, allot of people would seek another way to find support, and possibly less wars in the world.
