Ipod Help Please

    My 40GB 4th Gen iPod will not show up on iTunes. I have read a few websites and tried various things but it just wont work.
    Also, the iPod Service doesnt want to run, this may be why it wont show in iTunes. Im wondering how I can get the iPod Service to work. If I manually go in and click Start, it will work until I plug in my iPod. Once the iPod is in; it cancels and says "iPodService.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows."

    Any help is greatly appriciated.

    Re-install iTunes maybe? I don't know, reset your iPod drivers?

    There are other program insted of itunes, try them insted.

    Try re-intalling iTunes and if that don't work you may have to return it.
