    My old build was prevoisly posted but since things got updated, founded some better things are going to spend a bit more money heres the build, tell me if anything needs to be changed

    Wouldn't the eVGA 680i SLI mobo be better? It's cheaper too. Just what I think.

    yes, the evga board is a better bang/$$ then the dq6 which IMO is wayyyy over priced

    just to double check, can i use DDR2 1066/8500 RAM on any of these motherboards? I can spend about 3500 on some stuff at the most, I really want to keep this system for a long time and not get cheap parts that are ment for a budget build, im sorta a noob to overclocking so eventually ill do it but not for a while

    Also I was thinking instead of getting the Gigabyte motherboard, my other choice was the ASUS Striker Extreme, but i heard a lot of stability problems and other stuff, or possibly a different board with the 680i chipset. The evga board looks ok but i rather have something better for the money im spending on it

    get a good 680i board, i know that EVGA's will accept DDR2 1000
