Basically I wanna use something like my xbox live vision camera which I've setup for use on my computer to be a video camera of sorta, aka record videos for something like a vblog or even my video game setup behind my computer.

I'm not aware of all this Xbox stuff, but Ulead (not sure what their video software is called) generally have effetive, easy-to-use programs.

They won't be free, but I guess it'll be around $40-$60 which isn't anywhere near as expensive as Adobe Premiere!

    Good luck anyway.

It depends on how complex your editing is to be. Most of the free trial or just free video editing software just add a couple of dumb effects to your videos so you've got to be more specific, are you looking to do some Green/Blue screen footage?

As for the video editing software, sony vegas 7.0 is good
and for the video screen capturing
    Fraps
it allows you to take multiple snapshots of the screen and record in realtime what you are doing on the screen.
    hope this helps

I think people seem to be misunderstanding what I'm trying to achieve here. With windows movie maker I had the option to use my USB camera to capture video, I want to be able to do that exactly with another program.

I want to be able to record using the USB camera anything I want aka clan matches and etc. on my 360.

are there any programs that let me do that?
