What is the best video editing software that i could get for free??? i trying to get small scenes from movies ive recorded, so i need to be able to go through it frame by frame thanks in advance
ok thanks a ton ill check out sony vegas since i dont have a mac to use imovie. i was looking at Windows Movie Maker and it doesnt let you look at the scene frame by frame, plus it makes the quality a ton worse after you save it...
I use easy video splitter. I believe it was free....or maybe i hacked it I forgot...but it works pretty good. It is more of a splitter than editor but I dont know exactly what u are looking for.
the movie is in .avi format i used fraps to capture it i need to take about 2 seconds of the movie and go through frame by frame because i need characters from Warcraft 3 for a school project. i am tryin to compile only the character frames to the gif animator hope it helps
ok since you just wanna cut out certain parts from an avi you can try virtualdub http://www.virtualdub.org/ or nandub http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ackage_id=22280 both of those programs can do what you are looking for the only real difference between the two is vdub will accept avi with a constant bitrate (CBR) and nandub will accept avi's with a (CBR) and variable bitrate (VBR). I hope that helps you and there free also
