I've been using the trial version for 30 days and it was pretty badass. i liked the new features, game listing, browsing every window that's open, gadgets, etc., and i haven't had any problems/bugs with vista while using the trial version, so today I purchased vista ultimate x64 from newegg. it'll be shipped next week, i'm so glad :D
anyone using vista and is happy with it?

i know that many people are "afraid" to buy vista because of the bugs, so they're waiting a few month before all the bugs get fixed, but if you have the right pc vista runs flawlessly. ^_^

A world far beyond your imagination...
I am using Vista Home Premium Edition at this moment...
Been about almost a month with it and works great!

I love the new features and 'NO' bugs/glitches what so ever...
just few programs that don't work that great but then there are upgrades and updates and new programs out there that work...

It is a new operating System and everyone has to deal with a bit of hard work...just like the time XP came out and had tons of glitches and stuff..so Vista is new but once it is out and about it will be great :)

Nothing Bad about it from me...
Just be sure that you don't use too much money like I did to get all the programs for XP and about 20% of them don't work which is fine with me...

Yeah, even I say it isn't rubbish. It is far superior in points. But I'm just waiting for SP1 to fix the major bugs, as drivers.

well the only driver i had problems with was my network card, i had trouble installing the driver for it since the software wasn't compatible with vista, but i found a way around that. as for the sound, i found vista updates at asus' website (asus mobo obviously ^_^) and the driver for my vid card came as an automatic update from windows.

Vista in and of itself isn't bad.

it's just the 3rd party drivers, especially form Creative and nVidia which suck balls.

my philosophy though involves NOT taking the time to pirate somethign which nets a performance hit and definitely not buying it.

I'll likely buy vista sometime next year.

Vista is kickass...I love it. I got a new laptop so it automatically came with it. I have no problems with compatible programs cause they all are and well...its amazing. Everyone should get it.
