Im confused about what is brushless. Ive heard from other sources that its involved anything with a brush. So that means erasing, smudging and all that stuff includes brushes. But then i hear that u can smudge and still make the sig brushless? Does that also include erasing?
I would say the first source is wrong, and that brushless means not using brushes for brushing. Erasing and smudging isnt true brushing...but then again thats just me and i havnt checked the definition in like...3 years.
a brush less sig is not using a brush at all... im pretty sure that includes using a brush to erase/smudge
Brushless means the piece doesnt involve any brushes. It could have C4D's, smudging, clipping masks, etc.
So did i, but using smudge does use brushes, so i guess there isn't a way of making a truly "Brushless" peice without it being quite bad.
i've made a few 'brushless' sigs, without any sort of smuding etc. i wudn't say tht they look bad... basically though they are just manipulations of multiple images
