click on the arrows, delete ----. my next point of advice is to get monitor which displays things at a higher resolution... 1024*768 is EUGH... let me show you an example... I run out of space w/ that and yet... 800*600 eugh right click desktop go to properties far right tab and slide it as fa as can go...
sounds more like his problem is that he wants all his icons in his quick launch deally to be shown, therein 'removing' the arrow if im correct, you can simply right-click ur taskbar then uncheck 'lock the taskbar.' this will cause a lil bar to appear to the right of the arrows which you can drag to the right untill the arrows disappear.
