I got a new case so i put everything in it, and then i start it, lights go on for less then a sec then stop. I checked the 24pin and the 4 pin... everything is in. No idea why. anyone might think why? worked right before i transfered stuff
Does the computer give the S.O.S. error beeps? . If not, then I guess it could be the power source
turn off the switch on the power supply, wait a few minutes, turn it back on and try powering it again.
i tried all that. I didnt connect the speaker yet to hear the beeps. What do you mean it crashed? this is the warrenty info from asus.. Motherboard 3 Year All ASUS motherboard purchased after November 1st, 1999 will carry 3 year limited warranty services. One year limited warranty is given to purchase made prior to this date. Note: Warranty void for user removing serial number sticker on the motherboard it says i gatta contact local reseller. i got it from newegg. Ill wait a little before doing it.
Make sure you screw all the screws in the motherboard so they will be connected to the backplate. Other try a bios reset.
you motherboord chrashed because if you dont plugin things the right way at the first time, your motherboard short circuted. so yea man just get a new one for 80$
with the exception of the CPU/PCI-e thing, it's pretty hard to kill a baord by plugging in something wrong. he killed it by placing the bottom of the board against a steel plate(that being what shorted it) Merged Post: they weren't initiaslly... they were ON TOP of his board forcing it against the case's backplate
it was an accident . I cant afford another Motherboard Dont have enough money... anyone wanna sell me theirs for some.. and then when i can afford one i want which name im forgetting.. ill give urs back and u keep the money..
I can try looking around for the absolute cheapest board possible... which seems to be this... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813138043 should run a PD805 flawlessly.
well instead of getting that, i might as well just get a good expensive one. I have to go now but will be on in 30 min or so.. im probably ganna go with a mobo that supports c2d and has 2 pci-e slots... under 100 if possible if not 1 pci-e slot will do.. im getting payed in less then a month, ill get a c2d and mobo all together...
here is a suggestion...dont buy a new motherboard go to a technicien dude ask him to fix it he is gona charge u like 50$ at the most thats it but if u are gona buy one buy a good one which has like 3 to 4 memory slots and also with the graphics card attach to it
