Well I bought a new Creative Zen M its about a month old and I turned it on and the music was only playing on one side. So I tryed different headphones and they had the same result. I tryed the headphones on the computer and both were playing music from both sides. If any of you can suggest a fix please post I did find a guide but I need some more information on the last step. http://www.noboundrees.com/micro_fix/ Step 14."Now in this picture you can see the solder points for the pieces. The points highlighted with the red squares are the points for the headphone jack and the ones with the red circles are the usb jack. All these points need to be reinforced due to the poor job done on Creatives part to these parts. The red arrow points the the pad on my Micro that was broken." So what are they asking me to do? Screw the jack back in or screw them in harder? I don't understand how thats the audio problem but everything said that it fixed the same problem I had. Thank you
From what I understood from step 14 is that you might need to re-solder the parts that are circled and boxed. Because it's not making a good connection with the other circuits.
Screwing and soldering is different I advise if you dont know how to solder ask maybe your dad..he might know Its a delicate thing .. Ive done it before but you can also make a total mess out of it as well It should not be taken lightly I have got the same player as you but i havent came across the problem yet and had it for around 3-4months now I hope you get the problem fixed because its a awesome player DARKSTAR
Well now the headphones are fine. I turn it on this morning and music is playing from both sides. This only happens sometimes but so far only twice. Thanks dark
What if the music you were playing was actually one sided lolz ie mono sound haha that would be funny DARKSTAR
