went to Groezrock yesterday, and I really enjoyed it! I only went on the saturday, best bands that day IMO. First band i saw there was MxPx, great band, really nice music. Then I saw mad caddies; relaxing music, great crowd atmosphere and some funny moshpits! I left before they ended so I could go and check out Aiden. Although Aiden aren't my type of music, they were okay. The best parts were the wall of death and the circle pit. The wall of death was quite painfull actually, I fell after i smacked into this huge german guy, took about half a minute to get back up lol. After Aiden, Rise against got my attention for the next 50 minutes. Rise against played some sweet music and again, the crowd were great too. After Rise Against my back was killing me + i hadn't had anything to eat since 9 oclock in the morning. So, i eat, drank and rested. Then i went of towards the Eastpak stage, where Ignite were just going to start. After half an hour I left, didn't really like there music + i wanted to save my energy for hatebreed. Finally, hatebreed.. were awesome! They really are great live. I didn't go into the moshpits, they were way too voilent. I really enjoyed singing along to the last 2 songs (I will be heard&live for this). Lostprophets sucked. Somewhere in between Rise Against and ignite, we went to the merch-shop and i bought a Mad Caddies shirt (green one). But as we were going out, the singer of MxPx came up to us and said ; "Hey guys, you want this shirt? Its a medium and you can have it for 5 euros".. can you believe it? i said no =( terrible decision. + there were a lot of hot chicks there
Rise against is such an awsome band. Hmm...sucks about the shirt, but the hot girls makes it all better ^_^
