Call Of Duty 2 On Vista

    just got my new computer with Vista and tried to install CoD2 and it crashes everytime it starts up
    i set it in compatibility mode for XP but it still dosent work >.<
    anyone have any ideas ?

    Another reason not to get vista:) Wait till they work out the bugs and put some patches out. Might be awhile since theres alot of games that do that =/

    theres a easy fix for that, i think you have to right click on the game and make it run in xp or something like that

    I hear a lot of people saying that to get programs to work in Vista they have to select the 'Run as Administrator' option when running/installing the program. Which I'm assuming is different from this XP thing

    Download PBsetup and run it. Punk Buster is the problem. The new version of PB makes it so you dont have to right click and choose "Run As Administrator". But I do it anyways. And good luck on the Frames Per Second loss.. Also make sure you have the NEWEST driver for your video card. I ran into the same problem with Enemy Territory. And spent over 2 weeks with Punkbuster staff.. which was no help.

    Not all games are compatible with vista yet man. Thats why people are not getting it...as of now.
