Nas' rhymes are timeless he could have been one of the best 20 years ago and he could be the best 20 years from now...So Nas is defiantly a legend and will be mentioned with names like Rakim and Run DMC and all the hip hop greats and pioneers.

    Agreed on that.

NAS is good, but he isn't the best. Yes, he might be in the top 5 rappers, but the most known rappers are: 2Pac, Biggie and Eazy E.

JMT is my fav group of all time. Tech is overrated tbh, Dance with The Devil is a good song though. I've never got into Saigon so no comment

On Nas, he is prob the best mainstream rapper. He's one of the best lyricist of all time. And for the Nas vs Jay Z debate... Nas blows Jay Z away, no contest.

Yea the thing i like about JMT mostly is it is hiphop, the music is based around the culture, no big budget beats, they use scraps and samples which is how real hip hop came about, hence beat boxing, you cant make a beat get someone to lay a three beat run down and cypher over it.

Im a lyracist, to the point i write ect, but i study rhymes not just listen, follow up on meanings and context thats the reason i like I.T so much, its food for thought IMO, i cant wait for the new album to drop.

Check Saigon out, bit of tech and a bit of papoose mixed together .. not bad, Oasis told me about him.

Nas is one of the greatest rappers ever. He's lyrics definitely are 'real talk'.
Pac, Nas, Mod Def, Talib, Rakim... those are rappers right there, but 50 Cent, T.I. and the rest of them are whack!!

I havnt bought one sadly, hard to come by down under, i have seen a couple however its right at the time when i didnt hvae any money.

Also it would seem I.T is selling out? his cd's are on the rack down under though i had to go to a direct factory outlet, its still there.

I would have to agree wiht the Z slurr, he's f-ing annoying, hate his " style" drives me nutts its the whole lean back fase.

"but 50 Cent, T.I. and the rest of them are whack!!"
Word, man i think 50 is a bitch he has to start beef to sell a few records,First it was ja rule, then game, and now banks or buck i forget which .... what a sad arse. My belief is he was shot in the mouth with the intention of telling him to STFU!

Was a big game fan, till doc's advoate, the whole CD was gangstaa gloryfing b.s And most tracks were Dre love songs ... - shudders - ... wont buy another of his albums till he get back on that dreams style, that was ------ respectable.

It's Just we dont see much underground U.S rap down in australia well, JMT are in a few places however, Tech has picked up alot of hype lately so i guess its no big shock.

"NaS>Everyone (both dead or alive) " Greater then Pac, doubt that alot.

IMO, Pac and Biggie are the legends, the ones who in my opinion helped make rap what it is today, but Nas' rhymes are freaking awesome. One Mic is a great song, and well, I love most of his songs, even his Jay-Z diss he did back in 01, "Ether"...

    From his Jay-Z diss, Ether..
