lol yeah I actually lol'd when I saw that. I was actually full on laughing while watching it, it's just crazy. 800th POST!
Well, yea, it's not possible to do it that fast without glitching... Makes me wanna get my old 64 out <_< Lol
He actually planned out the perfect way to do each level using computers and such, and then practiced for AGES to get it right I'm sure. It also was probably edited a bit, unless he's truly an uber-human who doesn't make any mistakes. Someone mentioned seeing SMB3 (for the original NES) beaten in 8 minutes; I've seen it too, although it's actually 11 minutes, not 8. He did use an emulator for it, but didn't use any sort of manipulation to speed it up OR SLOW IT DOWN, he simply has REALLY, REALLY good reflexes and muscle memory. I know its possible to do simply because I was inspired to do it myself xD. I only got the first level down, but I got to the point where I could do it perfectly, so at least I know that it can be done =P
look at the beginning of the video "this is a tool assisted speed run" point made. he used glitches and planned this out with computers.
Wow that's insane. I never really got into this game much just the occasional multiplayer with friends. Was fun.
yea i know. It makes me want to just buy the game again so i can try that out. the guy really owned with all the jumping in that first bowser level.
