Macromedia Flash Help

I have a file, and i need to make buttons on it, how do i do it?

 

if it is in swf, you cant.

 

its not in swf

 

I cant remember fully but im sure you convert it to a symbol. Then link it to another frame in the timeline, That frame will be what happens when you click on the button

 

hm ive done buttons before however i have forgotten now lol

I have to look at my gallery of fla files i have made during university labs

Its already got buttons you need to know how to actionscript or else you wont get far

Il have a look but might not do it because im busy at the mo

someone made it for me, but he never did the buttons redirect when clicked
