So I got my new computer, and the first thing I do is install photoshop (the serial is legit). However, after activating, registering, everything else, I find that nearly 75% of the filters aren't working. I'm talking ones that are pretty common. Clouds, all of brush strokes, half of the blurs, really messed up stuff. Now, I've re-installed, I've tried going through the plug-ins and getting them to work that way, but nothing is working.

any ideas? I'm :censored: p-o'd right now.

This happens to me sometimes. I don't know a way around it, but they come back eventually.

A trick I used to get round this, is that I opened an old .PSD of mine, deleted all the layers, and resized it to the dimensions I wanted. As it was an older .PSD, the Filters work for it...So I could work from a bare canvas and still use the Filters. Remember to save the filename as something different though.

    Hope that helps. ^_^

Best contact Adobe's support staff rather than ask on a forum.
