    Ok, so I want to learn how to make a game. I know basic scripting, but I can't find a decent compiler. I was using RPG Maker XP, but I want more of a challenge. Can anyone tell me a good compiler?

    I always thought that you coded the game using C++ and then it complied it for you

    C++ includes a compiler, yes.
