    Used a dial up connection last week in my friends house, cant believe how slow it actually is.

    Dial-Up is for dads who are too stupid to realize that their family kinda needs hi speed for homework and junk.


    DSL is rad.

    I used to have dial-up in like 1999 lol. i know how you feel its like the stone age almost. Well hopefully you can beg your parents to get high speed :] it does wonders

    Easy way to get out of that situation, upgrade to broadband really the lightest plan isnt that expensive... Id cant stand slow speeds that is really depressing... 1mbps is as low on a internet connection speed i will go...

    I remember the day when I switched to DSL. Cuts down the time so much, and definately worth it if you are on the web all the time. If you have something like satellite or cable, stop paying for that and start paying for DSL or Cable.

    indeed, dsl/cable ftw!! my speed got boosted 4000% (yes 40x the speed of dial up) My downloadrate went up from 100mb a year to nearly 1Tb (yes i recieve a lot of .pps-email)...

    Hey count me in. Im in dial up for about half year now. Well its Unlimited but its still in Dial up. lol. But well its not really hard for me. I dont know. My Dial up is kinda fast.
