Well I just got these forums hosted for my clan, and we got ourselves a skin, the topics all made ect. But what mods/addons do you recommend? I was trying to install a shoutbox but it never worked, had a bug or something.

For a shoutbox at the bottom of my forums, inside where the text should be that appaears on the forum. I'd post a link so maybe you guy's could look but I don't know if i'll get bitched at for it. lol :blink:

Well before you go modding files. BACK THEM ALL UP! I owned a phpbb board for a long time, and it can be a b!tch to get some mods on there. I would really reconmend.

I still really want to find out whats wrong with the shoutbox though.

 

Yeah all those ones that were mentioned (Rep mod probably isn't as good as invisions).

For fun maybe an arcade mod and an rpg system.

This will allow you to add text to the top of the forum, which will disappear when logged in.

Anyone else know a nice shoutbox I can add since the one I have atm is kinda messed up?

 

The shoutbox you are trying to use hasn't installed properly - it is missing one of the database tables it requires to run.

If it has an install script, make sure you've run it. If you have, try running it again.
