    My colors are off the wall! Every time I try to do something with colors it reverts to the Gray scale and locks like that so i cant select the three colors just black to white, how do I unlock this and get my pallet back?

    How to turn from grayscale to RGB when working:

    Image -> Mode -> RGB Color

    How to turn from grayscale to RGB before opening a new file:

    File -> New -> Color mode: RGB Color

    How to get your color pallet back:

    Window -> Swatches

    Click the triangle in the top right of that tab and change it back to RGB slliders.

    Why would I tell you to try something that you already tried? anyways, make sure you are in rgb mode, and change it to rgb slider, from what you say it sounds like your image is in Grey scale mode.
